AIKS Hosts Book Discussion on The Kashmir Chronicles in New Delhi


The All India Kashmiri Samaj (AIKS) organized a book discussion on The Kashmir Chronicles, authored by Dr. Vijay Sazawal, at Samavar Hall, Greater Kailash, New Delhi on 18 May 2025. The event was presided over by Member of Parliament Shri Vivek Tankha, with a detailed review of the book presented by Shri Ashok Manwati.

The Kashmir Chronicles was previously launched at the Constitution Club, New Delhi, by Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office.

In his keynote address, AIKS President Shri Ravinder Pandita welcomed the guests and stressed the critical role of civil society in promoting peace and reconciliation in Kashmir.

Shri Vivek Tankha, the only Member of Parliament of Kashmiri Pandit origin, reaffirmed his support for the abrogation of Article 370. He emphasized that true peace in the Valley would only be achieved with the dignified return of Kashmiri Pandits to their homeland. He also highlighted his initiatives, including a three-day motion on the Resettlement Bill 2023 in the Rajya Sabha and his recent appeal during Zero Hour in Parliament for the reopening of Sharda Peeth, similar to the Kartarpur Corridor.

The program was compered by Shri Sudhir Shah, Treasurer of AIKS. Among the notable attendees were AIKS Senior Vice President Shri Vijay Kashkari, Vice President Shri M.K. Pajan, and executive members Shri Arun Shali and Shri Sanjay Sapru.
