New Delhi, Dec 7: Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan on Sunday extended his greetings to personnel of the Indian Armed Forces, as well as veterans and Veer Naris, on the occasion of Armed Forces Flag Day 2025.
In his message, General Chauhan acknowledged the “resolute service, indomitable spirit and enduring contribution” of the armed forces towards strengthening India’s defence preparedness and ensuring national security.
He said the day serves as a tribute to the unwavering commitment, exceptional courage and supreme sacrifices of soldiers, sailors and air warriors who have protected the nation’s sovereignty across all frontiers and operational domains.
Armed Forces Flag Day, observed annually on December 7, commemorates the valour and dedication of India’s military personnel and provides an opportunity for citizens to contribute to the welfare of serving members, veterans and their families.
