BJP Focused on Last-Mile Welfare Delivery: Sat Sharma

Jammu, October 1: BJP J&K President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma said the party was committed to facilitating access to government welfare schemes and ensuring that benefits reached eligible beneficiaries. He was speaking after inaugurating a ‘Seva Setu Abhiyan – Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ welfare camp organised by BJP Jammu District at Kachi Chawni under the ongoing ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’. Sat Sharma said the initiative was aimed at bringing information and public services closer to people and reducing difficulties faced by beneficiaries in accessing government schemes. The camp provided assistance related to Ayushman Bharat and ABHA Cards, Ayushman Vay Vandana Cards, Domicile Certificates, Aadhaar-related services and corrections in ration cards. BJP J&K General Secretary Sanjita Dogra said the initiative was intended to facilitate access to welfare and development schemes, while Jammu District President Adv. Rajesh Gupta said the camp provided practical assistance with health, identity, domicile and ration-card-related services. At the same venue, the BJP also organised a ‘Rangoli Rashtra’ programme, in which Sat Sharma and party workers participated in creating a rangoli depicting themes of development, welfare and public service.
