BJP J&K Intensifies Organisational Outreach, Reviews Preparations for Upcoming Programmes
JAMMU, AUGUST 10: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu & Kashmir General Secretary (Organisation) Ashok Koul chaired a series of organisational meetings at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, to review ongoing activities and finalise preparations for forthcoming organisational and public outreach programmes.
The meetings were attended by J&K BJP General Secretaries Baldev Singh Billawaria, Sanjita Dogra and Gopal Mahajan, besides MLAs and other senior party leaders.
The deliberations focused on strengthening the party’s organisational structure, improving the effectiveness of its functioning and mobilising workers at every level for the successful implementation of upcoming programmes. Particular emphasis was laid on the ongoing Tiranga Yatras, Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, Vibhajan Vibhishika Smriti Diwas and further strengthening the party’s booth-level network.
Addressing the meetings, Koul said a strong and vibrant organisation remained the foundation of the BJP’s functioning and called upon party leaders to ensure active participation of every worker in the forthcoming programmes. He stressed the need for every booth to function as a centre of organisational activity and public outreach.
Koul said the Tiranga programmes should be viewed as an expression of national unity and a tribute to the sacrifices of freedom fighters. He urged party workers to connect with people and take the message of patriotism to every household through the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
He also underlined the significance of Vibhajan Vibhishika Smriti Diwas, saying it should serve as a reminder of the painful consequences of Partition and inspire future generations to uphold the unity and integrity of the country.
Billawaria called upon district, mandal and booth-level functionaries to work in close coordination and ensure disciplined implementation of all organisational programmes. He said greater public participation would further strengthen the party’s connect with the people.
Sanjita Dogra stressed the need for active participation by all morchas and organisational units, with particular focus on outreach among women, youth and first-time participants to make the campaigns more inclusive and people-centric.
Gopal Mahajan called for intensified booth-level activities and regular engagement with the public, observing that dedicated booth-level workers remained a key pillar of the party’s organisational structure. ANB
