Beerwah, Dec 7: MLA Beerwah Dr. Shafi Ahmad Wani on Saturday chaired a review meeting of the Rural Development Department (RDD), focusing on the progress of ongoing works and departmental performance.
In a significant move aimed at strengthening transparency and accountability, Dr. Wani decided to directly involve the public in the review process. He said that hearing citizens’ concerns and feedback firsthand helps ensure effective implementation of developmental works and fosters stronger coordination between government departments and the community.
Officials and local representatives present in the meeting appreciated the MLA’s inclusive approach, noting that such interactions enhance responsiveness and improve the delivery of services on the ground.
