Ashok Koul Pays Tribute to Rishi Kumar Kaushal, Calls Seva Sankalp Abhiyan a Commitment to Nation-Building
Reasi, September 5: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu and Kashmir State General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul paid floral tribute to veteran Bharatiya Jana Sangh leader Late Rishi Kumar Kaushal on his 100th birth anniversary in Reasi, recalling his dedicated service to the nation, society and the ideological movement that laid the foundation of the BJP.
Speaking on the occasion, Koul described Rishi Kumar Kaushal as a committed nationalist who devoted his life to strengthening the ideals of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh and serving the people. He said Kaushal’s contribution to the nation and society would always be remembered and would continue to inspire generations of BJP workers.
Koul said the BJP has emerged as a strong and vibrant national organisation due to the selfless efforts and sacrifices of generations of leaders and workers who worked tirelessly without seeking personal gains. He urged party workers to draw inspiration from Kaushal’s life and remain dedicated to the service of society and the nation.
Later, Koul addressed a workshop on the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan in Reasi district, stressing the need for effective grassroots implementation of the campaign and greater public participation in its programmes.
He said the campaign provides an opportunity to take the achievements and transformative initiatives of the Narendra Modi government directly to the people while reaffirming the BJP’s commitment to public service. He emphasised that party workers must work with dedication to ensure that the benefits of welfare schemes and development initiatives reach every section of society.
Koul further said the BJP’s organisational strength lies in its direct connect with the people and called upon workers to make the campaign people-centric, purposeful and impactful at the grassroots level.
