Chief Secretary Releases DIPR Calendar-2026 and Official Diary


Jammu, January 2026:Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo today released the Calendar-2026 and the Official Diary of the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) at a function held here.
The Calendar and Diary, published annually by the Department of Information and Public Relations, highlight important landmarks, cultural heritage, developmental initiatives and key achievements of the Union Territory, while also serving as important reference and documentation tools for government functioning.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Secretary appreciated the efforts of the Department of Information and Public Relations in effectively documenting and disseminating information related to government policies, programmes and achievements. He emphasized the vital role played by the department in strengthening transparent communication between the government and the public, and in showcasing the socio-economic and developmental progress of Jammu and Kashmir.
Commissioner Secretary, Information and General Administration Department, M. Raju, and Director, Information and Public Relations, Nitish Rajora, were also present at the event.
Among others present were Special Secretary to the Chief Secretary K.S. Chib, Special Secretary, General Administration Department Joginder Singh Rai, Special Secretary to the Chief Secretary Naginder Singh Jamwal, along with senior officers of the Information Department and other concerned officials.
The Calendar-2026 and Official Diary are expected to serve as valuable resources for government offices, institutions and stakeholders, reinforcing the administration’s commitment to effective public outreach and information dissemination.
