DC Changthang Reviews Preparations for 80th Independence Day Celebrations in Nyoma

NYOMA, Aug 4: Deputy Commissioner, Changthang, Shri Nitish Rajora, IAS, chaired a review meeting today to assess and finalise arrangements for the celebration of the 80th Independence Day in the Changthang district. The meeting comprehensively reviewed key arrangements including venue preparation, security measures, sanitation facilities, cultural programmes, refreshments, seating arrangements, and other essential logistical requirements for the smooth conduct of the event. The Deputy Commissioner directed all concerned departments and officials to ensure timely completion of assigned responsibilities and maintain close coordination to facilitate seamless execution of the Independence Day celebrations. He further emphasised the need for effective inter-departmental coordination to ensure that all arrangements are put in place well in advance for the successful and dignified observance of the national event.
