Jammu, February 2, 2026:
EuroKids International Pre-School, Shiv Nagar, on Monday organised a Free Eye Check-up Camp under its “Health is Wealth” initiative, in collaboration with Sachdeva Netralaya Hospital, Gandhinagar, Jammu. The camp received an encouraging response, with over 200 people benefiting from free eye screening services.
The camp was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Shri Ananth Dwivedi (IAS), Chief Executive Officer, State Health Agency J&K, and Managing Director, Ayushman Bharat Digital Health Mission, J&K. Addressing the gathering, he appreciated the initiative and underscored the importance of preventive healthcare, particularly at the community level.
The medical camp was organised under the supervision of Dr Abhishek Sachdeva, a noted Cataract and Refractive Surgeon from Sachdeva Netralaya Hospital. Comprehensive eye examinations were conducted during the camp, and beneficiaries were provided free medicines along with treatment coupons.
Managing Director of EuroKids International Pre-School, Mr Sahil Sharma, was also present on the occasion. He reiterated the institution’s commitment to promoting holistic health and well-being alongside quality education. As part of the initiative, students were awarded health certificates and medals to encourage early awareness of healthy habits.
The Chief Guest lauded the collaborative efforts of EuroKids International Pre-School and Sachdeva Netralaya Hospital, describing the camp as a meaningful social initiative that reflects a strong sense of community responsibility.
The programme concluded with a message highlighting the significance of eye care and preventive health, reaffirming EuroKids’ commitment to nurturing healthy and happy future generations.
