Final Publication of Municipal Electoral Rolls for Municipal Committee Leh and Municipal Committee Kargil - Qualifying Date 01.10.2026.

Leh 22 Oct : It is hereby notified for the information of all electors residing within the territorial jurisdictions of Municipal Committee Leh and Municipal Committee Kargil, as well as all recognised political parties and other stakeholders, that the Final Electoral Rolls of Municipal Committee Leh and Municipal Committee Kargil have been published by the respective Electoral Registration Officers (EROs), with 01.10.2026 as the qualifying date. The final Electoral Rolls are available for inspection at the offices of the respective Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) and Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs) of Municipal Committee Leh and Municipal Committee Kargil. All electors and political parties are advised to inspect the published Electoral Rolls and verify the particulars of electors included therein. Any person having an objection to the final publication of the Electoral Rolls may prefer an appeal in accordance with Rule 13 of the Municipal Election Rules, 2003, before the competent authority, as prescribed under the said Rules. All concerned are requested to take note of the above and exercise their rights in accordance with the applicable rules.
