LEH, OCTOBER 18: The Indian Air Force (IAF) conducted a short-notice medical evacuation late Saturday night, airlifting a critically ill 30-year-old civilian from Leh to Palam, Delhi, for urgent medical treatment. The evacuation was carried out by an IAF C-130J aircraft in darkness and challenging weather conditions, requiring a high level of operational preparedness, coordination and timely execution.
