Srinagar, June 26, ANB: Reiterating its commitment to inclusive development, J&K Bank extended financial assistance to Life Help Centre for Child Care (LHCCC), a Srinagar-based NGO working for specially-abled children, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. As part of the support, the Bank provided a dedicated transport vehicle and physiotherapy equipment to the centre. The Bank’s Deputy General Manager (CSR), Anup Bhat, formally handed over the vehicle keys to LHCCC Secretary Dr. Aaliya at a brief function held at the NGO's Nowgam centre. The event was attended by bank officials, LHCCC staff, and special children of the organisation. According to news service, ANB, Speaking on the occasion, Anup Bhat said, “At J&K Bank, our CSR efforts aim to make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most. Supporting organisations like LHCCC reflects our ongoing commitment to critical areas such as child welfare, healthcare, and education for the specially-abled.” Calling LHCCC’s work a “divine mission,” he praised the organisation’s dedication. Expressing gratitude, Dr. Aaliya thanked the Bank for its timely support. “Accessibility is one of the biggest challenges for children with developmental conditions. This initiative will significantly improve their quality of life,” she said. The assistance will strengthen LHCCC’s outreach to children from underprivileged and remote areas and enhance its therapeutic services through improved physiotherapy infrastructure. ANB.
