LG Manoj Sinha Meets Several Delegations, Unveils Anti-Drug Awareness Film in Jammu


Jammu: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday met several delegations and prominent individuals at Raj Bhawan, Jammu, and later unveiled the poster of an awareness film on drug abuse.
Member of Legislative Assembly from Reasi, Kuldeep Raj Dubey, called on the Lieutenant Governor. He was accompanied by Advocate Pawan Dev Singh, President of the District Bar Association Reasi, and Choudhary Mohammad Akram, a BJP leader. The meeting discussed issues related to public welfare and development in the Reasi district.
Earlier, a delegation of the Guidance and Counselling Cell for Youth Development, Gurha Slathia, also called on the Lieutenant Governor and shared their initiatives aimed at youth empowerment and counselling.
Padma Shri awardee Dr S. P. Varma, President of Gandhi Global Family, Jammu and Kashmir, met the Lieutenant Governor and held discussions on social service initiatives and value-based development.
Later in the day, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha unveiled the poster of “The Last Dose”, an awareness film on drug abuse produced by Khwaish Gupta Productions, at Lok Bhawan. Congratulating the entire team, the Lieutenant Governor extended his best wishes and appreciated the effort to spread awareness against drug abuse through creative media.
Ms Khwaish Gupta, Founder of Khwaish Gupta Productions, along with Shivdeep Gupta and Priya Gupta, producers of the film, and other members of the team were present on the occasion.
