Jammu, Jan 3: In a significant administrative reshuffle, Director General of Police, Jammu and Kashmir, Nalin Prabhat on Saturday ordered the transfer and posting of several senior police officers across the Union Territory. As part of the reshuffle, Mohammad Wasim Shah has been posted as Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Special Operations Group (SOG), Budgam.
As per the official order, Mohammad Wasim Shah (KPS236384), after completing his Basic/District Practical Training, has been posted as DSP, SOG Budgam with immediate effect.
Consequent upon the posting, Mohammad Idress Wani (KPS135819) has been transferred from DSP SOG Budgam to DSP 12 JKAP. Mohd Rafi Parray (EXK931959) has been shifted from DSP DAR Srinagar to DSP Economic Offences Wing (EOW) Srinagar. Nazir Ahmed Teli (EXK952277), who was awaiting posting at Police Headquarters, has been posted as DSP DAR Srinagar, while Omparkash (ARP985548) has been transferred from DSP PHQ to Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Basohli.
All concerned officers have been directed to be relieved immediately. The transfers have been effected in the interest of administration to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen policing across the Union Territory.
