Newly Appointed Information Department Officers Take Charge at JDI Kashmir

Srinagar, July 18: Following the recent administrative reshuffle in the Information Department, Shabir Ahmad Bhat on Saturday assumed charge as Field Publicity Officer (FPO), Kashmir, while Parvaiz Ahmad Lone took over as Youth Information Officer, Kashmir, at the Joint Directorate of Information (JDI), Kashmir. The newly appointed officers were welcomed by Joint Director Information Kashmir, Syed Shahnawaz Bukhari, in the presence of Deputy Director Information Headquarters Kashmir, Deputy Director Public Relations, Cultural Officer Kashmir, and other senior officials of the department. After assuming their respective responsibilities, both officers held introductory meetings with officials and staff of their wings. They reviewed the functioning of their offices, assessed ongoing activities, and took stock of various public outreach initiatives being undertaken across the Kashmir division. During the interactions, the officers emphasized the need for a collaborative, accountable, and result-oriented work culture. They urged officials to discharge their duties with renewed commitment and professionalism to further enhance the department's public outreach and communication efforts. Reaffirming their commitment to effective governance, the officers assured full support and cooperation to the staff in the efficient discharge of their responsibilities. They also stressed the importance of close coordination and teamwork to strengthen the Information Department's outreach across Kashmir. ANB
