New Delhi, December 13, 2025:Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday paid solemn tribute to the brave security personnel who laid down their lives while defending the Parliament of India during the terrorist attack on December 13, 2001.
Recalling the supreme sacrifice of the martyrs, the Prime Minister said the nation remembers with profound respect the courage, alertness and unwavering sense of duty displayed by the security forces in the face of grave danger. He noted that their heroism continues to inspire generations and stands as a lasting symbol of service to the nation.
In a message posted on X, the Prime Minister said, “On this day, our nation remembers those who laid down their lives during the heinous attack on our Parliament in 2001. In the face of grave danger, their courage, alertness and unwavering sense of duty were remarkable. India will forever remain grateful for their supreme sacrifice.”
