Sajid Yousuf Shah Calls for Upholding Prophet’s Teachings on Eid Milad-un-Nabi
SRINAGAR, August 25, 2026: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Media Co-Incharge for Jammu & Kashmir and Prabhari Kupwara, Adv. Sajid Yousuf Shah, today extended warm greetings to the people of Jammu & Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW), marking the revered birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
In his message, Shah said the occasion provides an opportunity to reflect upon the exemplary life, noble character and universal message of the Prophet (SAW), whose teachings emphasise peace, compassion, kindness, justice and service to humanity.
“The life and teachings of the Prophet (SAW) continue to serve as a guiding light for humanity. His message inspires us to uphold integrity, compassion and mutual respect in our daily lives,” Shah said.
He urged people, particularly in Jammu & Kashmir, to commemorate the occasion by strengthening communal harmony, social cohesion and the spirit of brotherhood.
Shah said Eid Milad-un-Nabi should not only be observed as a religious occasion but also as an opportunity to reaffirm the values of tolerance, unity and peaceful coexistence.
“Let this blessed occasion inspire us to work collectively for the welfare of society and strengthen the bonds of unity and harmony,” he said.
Shah also prayed for lasting peace, progress and prosperity in Jammu & Kashmir and for the well-being of all its people.
