Budgam, February 10: A formal pipping ceremony was organised at the District Police Headquarters Budgam to confer ranks on newly promoted Assistant Sub-Inspectors. The event was presided over by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Budgam, Shri Nikhil Borkar (IPS), in the presence of DySP (DAR) Budgam, Shri Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din.
Addressing the gathering, the SSP congratulated the officers on their promotions and appreciated their service record and professional conduct. He described the promotion as both an honour and a responsibility, urging the officers to uphold the highest standards of integrity, discipline and public service.
He also highlighted that increased authority brings greater responsibility and called upon the promoted personnel to lead by example, maintain discipline and strictly uphold the rule of law.
The ceremony concluded with senior police officers extending their congratulations to the promoted officials, who expressed gratitude to the department for recognising their services through timely promotions.
