Surinder Choudhary Attends Samman Diwas Programme in Nuh, Pays Tribute to Devi Lal

NUH (HARYANA), SEPTEMBER 27: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary on Saturday attended the Samman Diwas programme in Nuh, Mewat, Haryana, organised to mark the 113th birth anniversary of former Deputy Prime Minister of India, Jannayak Chaudhary Devi Lal. During the programme, Choudhary, along with Abhay Singh Chautala, paid floral tributes to Devi Lal and recalled his longstanding association with farmers, workers and people from weaker sections of society. Addressing the gathering, Choudhary said Devi Lal held an important place in the country's public life for his commitment to the welfare of farmers and marginalised sections. He said Devi Lal's public service continued to be remembered for his close connection with ordinary people and his focus on their concerns. The Deputy Chief Minister said Samman Diwas provided an occasion to remember public figures who devoted their lives to public service and to reflect on values such as social responsibility, dignity and service to the people. Choudhary also paid tribute to the enduring legacy of Devi Lal and conveyed his greetings to those attending the programme. The event was attended by Abhay Singh Chautala, besides other political leaders, public representatives and participants from various parts of the country.
