5G Revolution Has Opened New Opportunities for Youth: Er. Gulam Ali Khatana
Jammu, September 29: BJP senior leader and Rajya Sabha MP Er. Gulam Ali Khatana on Tuesday said the digital and 5G revolution has opened new opportunities for the younger generation and placed greater responsibility on them to contribute to the country’s development.
Khatana was speaking during the continuation of the “Jan Seva Se Desh Seva” programme organised at Higher Secondary School, Bhour Camp, Jammu.
The programme aims to connect people, particularly young people, with various development, public welfare and nation-building initiatives, besides providing students and local communities opportunities to participate in educational, cultural and creative activities.
During the programme, students took part in debates, painting competitions and other educational activities. Through their presentations and paintings, the students highlighted various aspects of India’s development and technological progress and shared their vision for a Viksit Bharat.
Khatana said India has witnessed significant changes in areas including digital technology, clean energy, startups, self-reliance, electric mobility, economic reforms, ease of doing business, manufacturing and exports.
“From clean energy to electric transportation, from reform to ease of doing business, from becoming a manufacturing hub to an export hub, from global recognition to an investment hub, and from employment seekers to employment providers, India is moving forward with confidence,” he said.
He also referred to developments in the technology and space sectors and said the government’s emphasis on “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas” had contributed to the country’s development journey.
Referring to the initiatives of the Modi government, Khatana said, “Modi ji hai toh mumkin hai.”
Addressing the students, he urged the younger generation to make constructive use of the opportunities and facilities available to them and play an active role in the country’s development.
He said youth have an important role in contributing to the vision of a Viksit Bharat, while stressing the importance of education, creativity, civic participation and a sense of responsibility.
The programme also provided students an opportunity to express their views on India’s development through debates, paintings and other creative activities.
