Gopalpur, Mar 29: General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), visited the Army Air Defence College (AADC), Gopalpur, where he reviewed the institution’s advanced training infrastructure and operational preparedness.
During the visit, the COAS was briefed on the state-of-the-art training facilities at AADC, which are aligned with evolving warfare concepts. The training model integrates modern methodologies with hands-on learning, supported by research and innovation-driven approaches to build a technologically saksham and future-ready force.
Addressing officers and personnel, General Dwivedi outlined the Indian Army’s transformation roadmap, underscoring the increasing importance of Multi-Domain Operations in modern warfare. He emphasised the need for adaptive leadership to effectively respond to the dynamic challenges of future battlefields.
On the occasion, the COAS awarded Commendation Cards to selected personnel in recognition of their exemplary service and dedication. He also lauded AADC for its pioneering role in technology-driven training and its contribution towards strengthening the Army’s Air Defence capabilities.
