JAMMU, JULY 18:
To promote awareness on cleanliness and responsible behavior during the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, the Cultural Unit of the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Jammu, staged a Nukkad Natak (street play) today.
The street play aimed to sensitize pilgrims about the importance of maintaining hygiene along the Yatra route. Key messages included the use of biodegradable materials, proper waste disposal, and adherence to safety guidelines issued by the administration to ensure a safe and smooth pilgrimage experience.
The awareness programme was organized under the guidance of Joint Director Information Jammu, Mr. Deepak Dubey, and supervised by Cultural Officer Jammu, Mr. Mukesh Kumar Sharma.
The initiative received an encouraging response from devotees and bystanders, effectively delivering its message through creative performance and public engagement.
