Div Com Flags Off First Batch of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra Pilgrims from Domail Baltal


Ganderbal, July 03, ANB, With chants of “Bam Bam Bhole” and “Har Har Mahadev” reverberating in the air, the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2025 officially commenced today from the Baltal route in Ganderbal district. The first batch of pilgrims was flagged off with fervent enthusiasm by Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, from Domail Baltal base camp. Marking the start of the annual spiritual journey to the holy cave shrine, the event was attended by key officials including Secretary of the Science and Technology Department and Nodal Officer for Yatra-2025 (Baltal axis), Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary; Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore; Senior Superintendent of Police, Khalil Poswal; and other senior officers from the civil and police administration. According to news service, associated news bureau, anb, the officials extended their heartfelt best wishes to the pilgrims, praying for their safe passage and spiritually fulfilling Yatra. The base camp buzzed with devotion as thousands of men, women, elderly devotees, and ascetics embarked on their sacred trek toward the revered cave shrine of Shri Amarnath Ji. Pilgrims expressed deep appreciation for the arrangements made by the Jammu and Kashmir UT Administration, Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board (SASB), and the police forces. They praised the smooth coordination and infrastructure that ensured a secure and comfortable journey. To facilitate the Yatra, the administration has put in place robust arrangements, including round-the-clock security, medical facilities, sanitation services, and other essential amenities along the entire route. The commencement of the Yatra not only signifies a vital religious event but also showcases the deep devotion of the yatris and the unwavering commitment of the administration in ensuring a peaceful and well-managed pilgrimage.ANB
