Jammu, 02 November 2025:
Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Media Incharge, J&K BJP, inaugurated a “Langar Prasad Vitran” at the Superspeciality Hospital, Jammu, organized by Jai Shiromani Baba Kaliveer Ji Trust, Resham Ghar.
The noble initiative aims to provide hygienic food and refreshments to patients and their attendants, continuing the age-old tradition of Langar Seva inspired by the teachings of Sanatan Dharma.
Trust Chairman Shakti Uppal, along with Bunty Jamwal, Shiv Uppal, Kamal Bhagat, Dheeraj Uppal, Dinesh Sharma, Ajeet Rathor, Vimit Gupta, and other volunteers, participated in the service with devotion and dedication.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra said that the Langar Seva is a living example of the eternal values of Sanatan Dharma, which emphasizes serving humanity selflessly. He stated that Bharat has been the torchbearer of universal brotherhood, the spirit of “Sarve Santu Niramaya” (May all be healthy) and “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (The world is one family). “The real worth of a human being is not measured by wealth or worldly possessions but by inner virtues and compassion reflected through such humble and noble acts of service,” he emphasized.
Dr. Pardeep lauded the Trust for upholding the glory and divine spirit of Kuldevta Baba Kaliveer Ji, whose teachings inspire countless devotees to serve humanity and spread goodness. “Baba Kaliveer Ji represents the soul of righteousness, courage, and compassion. Every act performed in His name becomes an act of seva to mankind and a tribute to our glorious spiritual heritage,” he said, appreciating the Trust’s efforts to carry forward this divine mission by feeding the needy and supporting patients and their caregivers with love and humility.
Dr. Pardeep also appreciated the Modi government for embodying the same philosophy of compassion and inclusiveness on a global scale. He noted that from caring for the last person in society to offering free medical aid to needy nations during the COVID-19 pandemic, India under Prime Minister Modi has exemplified the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam in the time of peace, war, and disease alike.
Trust Chairman Shakti Uppal informed that the Langar has been running continuously for the past two years, offering tea, snacks, and freshly cooked meals prepared with minimal spices and utmost hygiene to suit the needs of patients and their attendants. He expressed gratitude to all volunteers and devotees who contribute to this sacred cause in the name of Baba Kaliveer Ji.
