Jammu, January 22: ANB: Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha has expressed shock and profound grief over the loss of lives of 10 brave Indian Army soldiers in a tragic road accident in Doda district, where the military vehicle skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge.
The Lieutenant Governor conveyed his heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the families of the gallant soldiers who lost their lives in the accident and also expressed concern for the injured personnel. He spoke to senior officials and directed them to ensure the best possible medical treatment to the injured soldiers and extend all necessary assistance to the families of the victims.
In his condolence message, the Lieutenant Governor said, “I am deeply saddened at the loss of lives of 10 of our brave Indian Army soldiers in an unfortunate road accident in Doda. We will always remember the outstanding service and supreme sacrifice of our brave soldiers. My deepest condolences to the grieving families.
“In this moment of profound sorrow, the entire nation stands united with the bereaved families in solidarity and support. Ten injured soldiers have been airlifted to hospitals. I have directed senior officials to ensure the best possible treatment and am praying for their speedy recovery.”
