LG Manoj Sinha Extends Greetings to Teachers, Calls Them Nation-Builders
SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 04: Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha on Friday extended his greetings and best wishes to teachers on the occasion of Teachers’ Day, being observed on September 5.
In his message, the Lieutenant Governor paid tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the eminent educationist, philosopher and former President of India, on his birth anniversary, describing his life and contributions as an enduring source of inspiration for generations.
Shri Sinha said Teachers’ Day provides an opportunity to acknowledge and appreciate the dedication of educators towards human advancement and nation-building.
“Teachers are true nation-builders and changemakers. By sparking curiosity and breaking down barriers, they shape young minds and help students grow into creative and compassionate leaders,” he said.
The Lieutenant Governor urged teachers to recognise and nurture the individual talents and qualities of every student while making classrooms more engaging and interactive.
He also called for renewed efforts to ensure quality education for all and strengthen the collective resolve to contribute towards building a developed India by 2047.
