Srinagar:26:03:26: ANB ; Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today expressed sincere gratitude to the central leadership for releasing Rs. 5,000 crore as additional central assistance to Jammu and Kashmir.
In a statement, the Lieutenant Governor thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for extending the financial support.
He stated that the additional assistance would play a crucial role in consolidating the fiscal condition of the Union Territory. The Lieutenant Governor further noted that the funds would strengthen financial stability and support the government’s ongoing efforts to ensure sustainable development and efficient public service delivery across Jammu and Kashmir.
