MP Rajya Sabha Khatana Participates in ‘Ashirwad Ka Diya’ Programmes in Pulwama, Highlights ‘Viksit Bharat’ Vision
Srinagar, September 17: Member of Parliament of Rajya Sabha Er. Ghulam Ali Khatana on Thursday participated in ‘Ashirwad Ka Diya’ programmes held at Kandi Zal in Pulwama and at AIIMS Awantipora to mark the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
At Kandi Zal along the Ring Road in Pulwama, Khatana joined BJP workers and supporters who lit lamps and offered prayers for the Prime Minister’s long life and continued service to the nation.
He later participated in a similar programme at AIIMS Awantipora, where party workers and supporters lit lamps and conveyed their greetings on the occasion.
Speaking to reporters, Khatana highlighted the development agenda of the Union Government and said that various initiatives were being pursued under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership to advance the vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’. He underlined the role of technology, innovation and economic growth in strengthening the country’s overall development.
Khatana also referred to the recognition received by Prime Minister Modi from various countries and international forums, saying that such recognition reflects India’s growing global presence and engagement.
He also spoke about the organisational activities of the Bharatiya Janata Party and said that BJP workers in Awantipora and Pulwama participated in programmes organised across the country in connection with the Prime Minister’s birthday.
As part of the birthday-related activities, BJYM J&K organised a blood donation camp at SKIMS Soura, Srinagar, where Khatana attended as the chief guest. Volunteers donated blood during the camp as part of the public-service initiatives.
The programmes were attended by party workers, supporters and volunteers. The activities combined the lighting of lamps to mark the occasion with messages of public service and commitment to national development.
