Young Minds Shape Vision of Viksit Bharat 2047: Ashok Koul
JAMMU, SEPTEMBER 21: BJP Jammu and Kashmir General Secretary (Organisation) Ashok Koul on Monday participated in two youth-oriented programmes organised in Jammu under the ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyaan, engaging students through creative expression and debate on the vision of a developed India by 2047.
Koul attended the ‘Mere Sapno Ka Bharat–Chitra Seva’ programme at Government Girls Model Higher Secondary School, Mubarak Mandi, where students presented their vision of a developed, self-reliant and prosperous India through paintings and artwork on the theme ‘My Bharat 2047’.
Speaking on the occasion, Koul said the vision of Viksit Bharat was not merely a government objective but a collective national resolve in which the younger generation had an important role to play.
He said children and youth would shape the country’s future and that such initiatives provided them with an opportunity to understand the aspirations associated with a developed India while expressing their ideas with creativity and confidence.
Koul said the Seva Sankalp Abhiyaan was taking the message of service, social responsibility and nation-building to different sections of society across Jammu and Kashmir. He stressed that realising the vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047 would require the active participation and sustained commitment of the younger generation.
J&K BJP Vice President Priya Sethi said the paintings showcased the hopes and aspirations of students for a stronger and more developed India. She said such activities help promote creativity, confidence and a sense of social and national responsibility among young people.
Later, Koul attended a debate competition at Cooperative Public Higher Secondary School, Marble Market, Jammu, as the chief guest. Students participated enthusiastically in discussions on nation-building, the vision of a developed India and the country’s future.
Koul appreciated the students for their confidence, clarity of thought and participation in the competition.
Certificates were presented to the top performers in both programmes in recognition of their talent and performance.
J&K BJP Yuva Morcha President Arun Prabhat, District Prabhari Brijeshwar Rana, District Presidents Advocate Rajesh Gupta and Naresh Singh, Mahila Morcha General Secretary Urvashi Gupta, Adarsh Jathiar, Nitish Mahajan, Ajay Gupta, Suneet Raina, and school principals Neelam Kumari Sharma and Jyoti Chib were among those present.
