COAS Receives Curated Collection of Publications on National Security, Strategic Affairs and Military Leadership
New Delhi: General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), was presented with a curated collection of publications covering diverse aspects of military excellence, national security, strategic thought, leadership and emerging security challenges.
The collection featured works by distinguished authors offering perspectives on defence, strategic affairs and contemporary security issues.
Among the publications was The Sports Legends of Defence Services & CAPF (Volumes I & II) by Smt Vaneeta Vaid, documenting the achievements of 80 outstanding sportspersons from the Armed Forces and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) whose accomplishments have brought recognition to the nation.
Information Warfare: Battleground of the Digital Age by Shri Rahul Pandit explores the evolving character of modern conflict in the information domain, examining challenges posed by misinformation, cyber threats and psychological operations, while discussing approaches to safeguarding national interests in an increasingly digital environment.
India’s Water Security – Threats, Strategies and Solutions by Major General Akash Kaushik presents an analysis of India's water security landscape, its strategic implications and policy measures aimed at ensuring the sustainable management of this vital national resource.
Echoes From Academy Lines by Lieutenant Colonel Herald Ford Mochari reflects on the values of camaraderie, leadership, resilience and lifelong bonds nurtured at the National Defence Academy, highlighting experiences that contribute to the development of future military leaders.
Also presented was Defence Reimagined: 33 Domains to Revolutionise National Security by Shri Shivam Arya, which examines emerging technologies, evolving strategic doctrines and transformative approaches towards strengthening India's future-ready and self-reliant national security architecture. ANB
