MP Rajya Sabha Khatana Advocates Entrepreneurship During Visit to "NaYaB Mega" Lifestyle Exhibition

Srinagar, June 20 (ANB): BJP Senior leader Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Er. Ghulam Ali Khatana on Saturday visited the two-day "NaYaB Mega" Lifestyle Exhibition at Hotel Meridian Rajbagh, Srinagar, where he inspected stalls set up by entrepreneurs from Srinagar,Jammu and various parts of the country. Before interacting with the media, Khatana toured the exhibition, visiting individual stalls and interacting with exhibitors. The exhibition features a range of products, including designer jewellery, gold and silver ornaments, ethnic wear, apparel, traditional sweets, fashion accessories and other lifestyle items. Speaking to reporters, Khatana said the exhibition serves as an important platform for entrepreneurs to showcase their products and aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "Vocal for Local" initiative aimed at promoting self-reliance and indigenous enterprise. The MP expressed satisfaction over the participation of young entrepreneurs, noting that many students are successfully balancing their education with business ventures. He said the youth should aspire to become employment generators rather than merely employment seekers, adding that entrepreneurship plays a vital role in sustainable economic growth. Khatana said the exhibition has brought together exhibitors from different parts of the country, providing consumers with access to a variety of products under one roof. He congratulated the organisers of NaYaB Events for hosting the exhibition and providing entrepreneurs with an opportunity to expand their market reach. The exhibition, being held on June 20 and 21, has attracted exhibitors from Jammu and several other parts of India, showcasing jewellery, clothing, handicrafts, sweets and a variety of lifestyle products.
