Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) candidate for the Budgam Assembly by-election, Aga Mehmood Sahib, today filed his nomination papers at the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Budgam.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Omar Abdullah personally accompanied Aga Mehmood Sahib to the DC office, reaffirming the party’s strong commitment to the constituency and its people.
A large number of JKNC workers and supporters gathered outside the DC office to express their solidarity and enthusiasm for the party’s candidate.
After filing the nomination, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah addressed the media, highlighting the party’s vision for Budgam and reiterating that the National Conference remains dedicated to restoring trust, development, and inclusive governance in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Budgam by-election is expected to witness a keen contest, as major political parties gear up to consolidate their positions ahead of the Assembly polls.
