CHARAR-E-SHARIEF, DECEMBER 11: Speaker of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly and MLA Charar-e-Sharief, Abdul Rahim Rather, today conducted an extensive tour of his constituency to review ongoing development works and inaugurate key healthcare facilities.
During the visit, the Speaker inaugurated newly established Dental and Digital X-ray units at PHC Hayatpora, marking a significant step towards strengthening healthcare services for local residents. He later visited Sub-District Hospital Nagam, where he interacted with doctors, paramedical staff, and members of the public. Addressing their concerns, he assured that the government is committed to upgrading healthcare infrastructure and resolving public issues on priority.
As part of the tour, the Speaker also inspected PHC Sursyaar and inaugurated a digital X-ray plant there. While addressing a public gathering in Sursyaar, he assured residents that the facility will soon operate 24×7, ensuring round-the-clock medical care and enhanced patient services.
Rahim Rather also visited PHC Kremshore, where he engaged with medical staff and local residents. People from the area expressed hope that the Speaker’s visit would accelerate the long-pending development projects in the region.
The Speaker was accompanied by the Director Health Services Kashmir, Deputy Director Health, CMO Budgam, SDMs of Chadoora and Khansahib, BMOs concerned, and other senior officials.
