University of Kashmir Convocation: Omar Abdullah Hails Women Graduates, Says J&K Moving Towards Women-Led Development

Srinagar: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday said it was a matter of immense pride that young women secured nearly 60 percent of the degrees awarded at the 21st Convocation of the University of Kashmir, underscoring a significant shift in the region’s educational landscape.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister commended the outstanding performance of female students, stating that their academic success reflects determination, resilience and a growing commitment to higher education among young women in Jammu and Kashmir.
